Welcome to Ashcott School...

Ashcott Primary School is a caring and welcoming school, set in beautiful grounds, with attractive, environmentally-friendly buildings.  We are located at the end of the Polden Hills, above the Somerset Levels.  We believe that Ashcott is a special place and we feel very lucky to work and learn here!

We have close links with our community and believe in working together to inspire children to be proud of their community and the area in which they live.  Parents and volunteers work hard to support the school and the school is very much at the centre of village life.

At Ashcott School we believe in putting children at the heart of everything we do and this includes providing the children with a creative curriculum that is both exciting and inspiring. Our curriculum has a strong international focus, with whole school topic themes each half term linked to a different part of the world. Each topic brings visitors in to school or takes the children out on educational visits to bring the learning to life.

If you are a prospective parent looking for a school for your child, please contact us and we will be very happy to show you around.

We hope this website will give visitors an insight into the life of the school as well as providing useful information for parents of the children who already attend our wonderful school.
