Book Week 2024

We had an amazing Book Week with lots of exciting book related activities throughout the week.  On Monday we were visited by famous children's author, Emma Carroll who did a whole school assembly and then delivered a workshop to Owls and Woodpeckers - we even interviewed her for the school newspaper .  On Wednesday we had a Book Swap organised by the Reading Stars, with over 400 books!    On Thursday it was World Book Day and we all came dressed as a character from a book; we got to share a book with our buddies in our teams too in the afternoon. At the end of the week, on Friday, our parents and grandparents were invited in to read with us before Sharing Assembly.  What a fun-filled week we had!  Take a look at the photos below...
