Book Club
In December, some of the members of Ashcott School Book Club held a meeting with children from Meare School to discuss the book they have been reading this term: 'Perijee and me' by Ross Montgomery. Ashcott Book Club meets every Wednesday with Miss Stevens and share a book selected by the Mendip Village Schools Book Clubs. This particular book was very popular with the children and even more so, since many of them visited Brookside School in October, to hear the author himself, talk about the book!
